China Educational Travel Fam Trip and Workshop 2. - 10.9.2025

A warm welcome to the Arctic Coast region – located in the northernmost part of the Baltic Sea, in Finland. Six dedicated partners within the Visit Arctic Coast value network have developed inspiring school camp programs and offer a wide range of year-round activities.
Our teachers, principals, and students are excited to share meaningful school days and intercultural experiences with visiting school groups from abroad. 

Vuokatti, together with Visit Finland, warmly invites you to Vuokatti, for you to learn Vuokatti as an educational travel destination. During the trip, you get the chance to briefly taste some of the activities most often included in school camp and educational tours at Vuokatti Sport. We will also briefly visit few other companies to showcase what they are offering.
Vuokatti Sport offers tailored school camps and educational tours for student and pupil groups., and it will be our main venue for the fam trip.

18:30 Dinner at Vuokatti Sport

19:30 Welcoming and short presentations of Vuokatti by your host Leena Penttinen and by Luo Wen of school camps and educational tours at Vuokatti Sport.

Breakfast at Vuokatti Sport

Site inspections at Vuokatti Sport (accommodations, indoor sport facilities, outdoor sport facilities) followed by a short bus tour with short visits to other service providers and facilities nearby suitable for school camps and educational tours. We will also check the locations of local schools welcoming school visits by international pupil and student groups.

Lunch at Vuokatti Sport

In the afternoon we will briefly try out the most popular activities for pupil and student groups. Olympic Sport Games includes fun and soft sport activities that are excellent at developing a sense of community. Geocatching is a fun and adventurous game that is suitable for everyone.

Dinner at Vuokatti Sport

Lakeside sauna with opportunity for swimming – program very often included in school camps and educational tours. You will learn how the Finnish Sauna Culture is introduced to international pupils and students.

Breakfast at Vuokatti Sport

In the morning, we will briefly try out more activities – this time focusing on water activities, e.g. fishing, canoeing, SUP and the traditional, long Church boat rowing.

Lunch at Vuokatti Sport

Laser Biathlon for Kids will be our last activity on this fam trip. It is a soft and fun sport activity that helps to improve concentration and manage stress while enjoying the satisfaction of learning and succeeding.
